I'm a Writer, Did You Know?
I still haven’t told people in my “real” life that I write. I know some people tell everyone they’re writers before they even finish the first draft of their debut novel. I admire them immensely. I know others never tell anyone, even after they’ve been published. I understand them, as well.
Hello, 2017!
My writing resolutions and plans.
NaNoWriMo 2016
It's the end of October. In the writing community, this signals the approach of NaNoWriMo, which means most writers are freaking out online, trying to prepare for writing 50,000 words in 30 days. Crazy, right?
Lost in the Woods
Or a planner's attempt to get back on track with writing. Recently, I've been having really slow writing days. My current work in progress (its working title is Yours to Love but that will probably change) is dragging along like molasses. And I'm fairly certain my main problem is that I don't know where exactly I'm going with the plot.
Camp NaNoWriMo - and why it works for me
July 2016 is the first time I'm participating in CampNaNoWriMo. If you're unfamiliar with the event, it's a month-long event organized twice a year (in April and in July) where people set a writing goal they want to achieve, enter virtual cabins (like at real camp), and cheer each other on while writing.
My #PitchWars Bio (Let's do this, shall we?)
Hi! My name is Zoe and I write adult contemporary romance.
This is my first #PitchWars attempt and I'm very excited about the entire event. I found out about it late and am only now scrambling to catch up but I've already seen that the community of writers (both mentors and mentees) is pretty damn amazing.
